Congratulations :) You are here because you have great ideas! This program awards small grants to neighbors for gathering around special interests and community projects in Palouse, Washington. Each recipient will receive $250 and administrative support from More Parades.

Money StuffYou may use your funding for anything that supports your gathering: your labor, your time, your collaborators’ time, yummy snacks, venue rental, supplies, equipment, anything goes! You will not need to submit receipts or prove expenses to access your funding. More Parades can cut you a paper check, give you paper money, or direct deposit into your account (no cash apps here!). Please specify payment preference and get your money by filling out this info:

DocumentationMore Parades will feature you & your projects on our website and in our annual report. We’d love for you to make 3-5 photos for the microgrant project archive. Please practice consensual documentation practices by asking permission to take photos with people. Since we’ll use these photos for grant reporting on the internet, we prefer images that represent your work without disclosing specific identities (no faces!). Let us know how to credit you or your project in the photo submission form below.

This seed funding for this program comes from the folks at With Neighbors. They are funding a national wave of microgrants with organizers all over the country: taking action to strengthen civic life by inviting their neighbors to gather. It's a national neighborhood microgrant blitz.
